Short Documentary- Endangered species ( SPARROW)

Protection of wildlife habitat. Perhaps the greatest threat that faces many species is the widespread destruction of habitat. The best way to protect endangered species is to protect the special places where they live. So, an activity was planned by Ramagya School for the students of class V  to enlighten the students that how they can conserve the endangered species. For this the students got an opportunity to meet an exemplary person named Ms. Manju Tandon, who is working towards providing food and shelter to sparrows, doves and pigeons. A short documentary was also made during this activity.

Poetic Hues - Poetry composition and group presentation

As a part of ISA activity- Expressions, Ramagya School organised poetry writing competition. The students of class VIII composed individual poems on the theme -
‘A Hero’. Each student imagined himself/herself to be a hero or whom they consider their hero. The students actively participated and came out with wonderfully expressed thoughts in the form of poems, either rhyming or free verse.

The students of Class IX were also engaged in a similar group project of 6-7 students each wherein they were supposed to compose poems on the theme ‘Seven Ages Are Like Seven…’and present the same using props. A variety of comparisons were shown like seven ages compared to Seven Wonders of the World or seven union territories of India or to stages of a plant growth or to seven days of the week.

Palette of Emotions by Ramagya School

A painting competition was organized by Ramagya School, as a part of ISA activity,  for the students of class VI, VII and VIII, on the topic “Love for Nature”. The students actively participated in the competition portraying their imagination on canvas with vibrant colors. Each of the students actually imagined herself/himself on the journey to nature and expressed their feelings, their bond with nature in a beautiful manner. Thereafter, the paintings were displayed in the form of an exhibition in school. Their paintings truly spoke of the interdependence of the humans on nature without which human race ceases to exist.
