Food fiesta- Texture printing activity



                         It has been generally observed now a days that children are more inclined towards junk food and non healthy food. In order to inculcate healthy eating habits from a tender age, Ramagya school has organised a texture printing activity for the students of class 1. The little artists had a wonderful learning experience. Children used different vegetables like lady’s finger, onion, potato etc for texture printing.
Vegetable  printing  is  a  simple  art,  you  need  only  some  vegetables and  fabric colours to  make  the textures. Vegetables  can  be  cut  lengthwise or  breadth wise to  make  beautiful  patterns, according  to  your  ideas.

The students of class 1 of Ramagya School, Noida performed Fancy Dress Competition for the ISA Project on Healthy vs. Junk Food “Voyage towards Healthy Living”. Fancy Dress Competition made the students aware in an interesting & creative manner, the benefits of healthy food as against the health hazards related to unhealthy food of different countries.

Nature Camp by Class IV

NATURE CAMP

The students of class 4 of Ramagya School, Noida visited Okhla Bird Sanctuary on 11th Dec ‘2015 for the ISA Project on Endangered Species of the topic “LIVE AND LET LIVE”. The students were accompanied by the resource person Mr. Ahmed who gave them information regarding the habit and habitat of the birds. The birds in the sanctuary are safe and protected by the rangers of the sanctuary. The birds live in a pollution free atmosphere of the sanctuary. Many varieties of migratory birds were seen in the sanctuary. Children took care that in no way they troubled the birds. They liked the greenery and natural beauty in which the birds freely roam around. They were surprised to see so many birds there, which they rarely see in the crowded cities. The students enjoyed the day and took oath to take care and to save the birds.

Nutritive Value Of Food



This project aimed at creating awareness amongst students to inculcate good food habits in their life style and also made the students and teachers equally aware in an interesting and creative manner.
 It also helped the students to develop their speaking skills, socio- emotional skills and group cohesiveness. Students participated in this activity with lot of enthusiasm to appreciate the richness of being healthy.

Healthy Food vs. Junk Food



  Students of class I participated in Fancy dress competition on the topic-
Healthy Food vs. Junk Food. This topic made the students aware in an interesting & creative manner, the benefits of healthy food as against the health hazards related to unhealthy food of different countries like India, China, Italy, Japan & Australia etc. It also helped the students to develop their speaking and socio-emotional skills and group- cohesiveness.
